Fundraiser Ideas 2024

There are many reasons for your club or cadre to facilitate a fundraiser. One excellent reason is the upcoming 2026 Cadet International Camporee, hint, hint. Just in case you need them, here are a few ideas for fundraising that you can use with your club or cadre.

Recycle Bottles/Cans – Collect cans and bottles to recycle and receive the deposit. Look into setting up bags for collecting at your church or school. Ask friends, neighbors, and family too.

Auction – Offer products and services while bringing together the community at an auction. Cadets (and counselors?) prepare things/services they can offer/sell at auction, like lawn-mowing or other yard care services, housecleaning, dog walking, a batch of cookies, handmade crafts and goods… you get the idea.

Outdoor Sporting Event – Host a fishing tournament, sporting clay shoot, or similar outdoorsy activity. Charge an entry fee and look into getting prizes donated.

Car Wash – Find a safe place to do this, and consider selling tickets before the car wash in addition to drive-in-and-pay options.

Mother’s / Father’s Day Brunch – Cadets help prepare and serve a “fancy” meal to mothers or fathers and their families. Sell tickets in advance to determine how many seats and how much food you’ll need.

Bake Auction / Bake Sale – Solicit baked goods from the congregation and Cadet families to sell or auction off.

Garage / Rummage Sale – Cadets and their families contribute gently used items (clothes, furniture, etc.) to be sold; each person sets a price for their contributed items.

Sub Sandwich Sale – Sell pre-made subs, or get crazy and make your own. Offer delivery for larger orders.

Chili Cook-Off – Anyone can enter a chili for the competition! Sell tickets ahead of time and give each person a few tickets to vote for their favorite chili.
