Cadet Sunday 2025 – Lead the Way

As we approach the end of January, the Calvinist Cadet Corps eagerly anticipates the celebration of Cadet Sunday, traditionally observed on the last Sunday of the month (though your club may celebrate a different Sunday). This special day offers a unique opportunity to highlight the contributions of our Cadet program and engage the congregation in its mission. During Cadet Sunday, Cadets actively participate in the worship service, reflecting the year’s theme.

For the 2024-2025 season, our theme is “Lead the Way,” inspired by 1 Timothy 4:12:
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”

This theme encourages Cadets to exemplify Christian virtues, demonstrating leadership through their words and actions.

To enrich your Cadet Sunday service, the Calvinist Cadet Corps provides a variety of supporting materials:

  • Theme Visuals: High-resolution logos and posters are available for download to enhance your worship space and printed materials.
  • Cadet Sunday Litany: A responsive reading that reinforces the theme’s message, involving both Cadets and the congregation in a shared affirmation of faith.
  • Children’s Bulletin: An engaging activity booklet that aligns with the “Lead the Way” theme, designed to involve our younger attendees in the service. (DOWNLOAD)

Incorporating these resources, you can create a meaningful and participatory worship experience that highlights the spiritual growth and leadership of our Cadets.

As we prepare for Cadet Sunday, let’s reflect on how we can support our young leaders in setting an example through their speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. By doing so, we not only honor their commitment but also strengthen the bonds within our church community.
