2023 Sporting Clay Shoot Preview
In just a few months, it will be time for the annual Cadet Sporting Clay Shoot – and we wanted to quickly let you know more about this annual event.
The Facts
The 2023 Cadet Sporting Clay Shoot will take place on August 19, 2023, at the Blendon Pines Gun Club in Zeeland, Michigan.
The event is open to everyone who wishes to support Cadets (and shoot clays). Cadets and counselors are of course welcome to participate, but so are any friends of the Cadets ministry.
The cost is only $75 per shooter.
To Sign Up…
You can register and pay your fees online, by mail (using the 2023 Cadet Sporting Clay Shoot Registration Form), or by calling the Cadet Office at 616-241-5616, ext. 1.
Two Shooting Sessions
This year you have options as to when you’d like to shoot. We’ll have the usual 9:00 a.m. start for a morning round, and after lunch (around 12:30 p.m.), we’ll have an afternoon round of shooting. You’ll have the option to pick which time you shoot, but space is limited. The morning round will likely sell out first, so get registered ASAP!

Other Opportunities
If you don’t want to shoot clays, but want to support Cadets, get in touch with your friends who like to shoot and pledge a donation, either per clay hit or a fixed amount.
If you’re going to be shooting clays with us, increase your impact by getting your non-shooting friends to sponsor you with pledges and donations.
We recommend using our 2023 Cadet Sporting Clay Shoot Pledge Form to manage your pledges and the tax information we need.
