Christmas Project – Paper Wreath

Follow these instructions (and the video) to make a paper wreath! 

Instructions (see video for details/example)

What You Will Need

  • paper plates
  • construction paper
  • scissors
  • glue sticks
  • some twine

Step #1 

Cut a hole in the paper plate.

Step #2 

Cut green paper into strips.

Step #3 

Glue paper strips to the plate.

Step #4 

Cut triangles from each strip of paper.

Step #5

Cut two white strips of paper.

Glue them together in an “L” shape.

Fold them over each other, alternating to form an accordion, and glue the ends together to form a “candle.”

Step #6 

Cut flame shapes and glue them together.

Fold a tab on the flame and glue to the candle.

Step #7 

Glue the candle to the wreath.

Step #8

Cut out a bow and glue it to the wreath.

Step #9

Cut out dots and glue them to the wreath.

Step #10

Tie a length of twine around the top of the wreath for hanging.
