2021 September/October Cadet Quest
Welcome to a new Cadet season and a new issue of Cadet Quest magazine. For our September-October issue, the theme is the same as our Cadets theme for this year – God’s In Control!
Find what you’re looking for with our Table of Contents, and try to find the objects hidden throughout the magazine.
Executive Director Steve Bootsma introduces the “God’s In Control” theme and explains that while it’s natural to be anxious sometimes, we can always know that it will be okay – because God’s in control.
You can get a great start on your Creation merit badge by working through the instructions on this page.
“The Kitten and the Pocket Watch” is a story about a boy named Ethan who grows strong and courageous in the face of adversity.
We all feel stressed or anxious sometimes. This page is full of ways that you can deal with your anxiety.
Lots of people like to color to deal with stress – try it for yourself on this detailed coloring page.
A story called, “Lethal Pizza” follows a boy named Justin as he deals with both food poisoning and teasing. Justin learns to trust God, even when it isn’t easy.
“Lessons from Pluto” is an interesting article that will encourage you to see God’s control everywhere while you learn a little bit about our solar system.
Our fun and games pages are full of clean jokes and tricky puzzles, including a word search and a maze.
In this issue, you’ll also find the regular features of Cadet Quest magazine: the A and B Bible lessons, a craft project (this month you can build a wooden crate), and the Casey’s Cadre comic.
That’s just a quick overview of what you’ll find in the September/October issue of Cadet Quest magazine. We hope you’ll have fun – and maybe learn a few things – while you read it all. Until next time, enjoy Cadet Quest!
